Weather for today:
High and medium clouds advection over the northern parts of the Sultanate. Chances of thundershower cloud formation and isolated rain occasionally thundershower may associated with downdraft over Al Hajar Mountains toward the afternoon. Chance of dust rising over the deserts areas due to fresh wind of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates. Chances of low clouds/ fog over parts of South Al Sharqiya,South Al Dakhiliyah,Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates
Winds:
Along Oman Sea coasts winds will be northeasterly light to moderate becoming variable and over the rest of the governorates winds will be southwesterly light to moderate occasionally fresh over parts of Arabian Sea coasts ,Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
Sea State:
Slight to Moderate along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea with maximum wave height of 2.0 meters. While it will be slight along rest of the coasts with maximum wave height 1.25 meter.
Cautions:
Visibility may reduce in rising dust ,fog formation and rainfall.
Horizontal Visibility:
Good in general, but reduced in rising dust area ,fog formation rainfall.
