Weather for today:
Mainly Clear skies over most of the governorates. Partly cloudy skies along Dhofar coasts with isolated rain. Chances of rising dust over the desert and open areas. And chances of low clouds or fog patches at late night and early morning over parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates.
Winds:
along the coastal areas of Oman Sea winds will be northeasterly light to moderate becoming variable light at night and over Arabian Sea wind will be westerly to southwesterly moderate to fresh, while over rest of the sultanate it will be northwesterly light to moderate.
Sea State:
Moderate to rough along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea with maximum wave height of 3.5 meters, along muscat coastal areas will be slight to moderate with maximum wave height of 1.75 meters, and slight along rest of the coasts with maximum wave height of 1.25 meters.
Cautions:
- Moderate to rough sea along Arabian Sea coasts. - Fresh winds over desert and open areas. - Temperature may reach late 40s in some areas.
Horizontal Visibility:
Good in general, but reduced during dust rising and in case of fog formation.
