Mainly clear skies over most of the governorates with chances of convective clouds development and isolated rain occasionally thundershowers associated with downdraft over parts of Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon may extend to desert areas in the evening. Chances of late night to early-morning low clouds and fog patches along parts of South Al Batinah Mountains and the coastal areas of Oman Sea and Arabian Sea.

Winds:

Along the coastal areas of Oman Sea winds will be Northeasterly to easterly light to moderate becoming Variable light at night and along Arabian Sea coasts winds will be southwesterly light to moderate occasionally fresh. While over rest of the governorates it will be southeasterly light to moderate occasionally fresh during thundershowers.

Sea State:

Slight to Moderate along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea coasts with maximum wave height 1.5 meters. While slight along the rest of the coasts with maximum wave height 1.0 meter becoming moderate along South Al sharqiya coasts, overlooking Oman Sea, toward evening.

Cautions:

- Fog formation along coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea. - isolated rain occasionally thundershowers over parts of Al Hajar Mountains. - Sea becoming moderate along South Al Sharqiya coasts at night.

Horizontal Visibility:

Good in general and may reduced during fog formation and rainfall.
