      Weather for today:

      Partly cloudy over coastal areas of Dhofar governorate with chance of drizzle. Clear skies over rest of the governorates with chance of high clouds advection with a chance of convective clouds forming over part of the Al Hajar Mountains and Chance of rising dust over desert and open areas of a Dahira, al Wusta and Dhofar governorates. Chance of early morning low level clouds or fog over the coastal areas of Arabian Sea.

      Winds:

      Along Arabian Sea coasts winds will be southerly to southwesterly moderate to fresh and along Oman Sea coasts it will be northerly to northeasterly light to moderate and over rest of the governorates it will be variable light wind changing to southwesterly to westerly light to moderate occasionally fresh over deserts and open areas.

      Sea State:

      Rough along coasts of Arabian Sea with maximum wave height of 3.0 – 4.5 meters and slight along rest of the coastal areas with maximum wave height of 1.0 - 1.25 meters.
