The National Multi Hazard Early Warning Center weather analysis and latest satellite images indicate that the tropical depression is located south  of Arabian Sea at longitude ( 68.2 E ) and latitude ( 8.8 N ) with estimated surface wind speed around the center 20 – 25 knots (38 – 46 km/h).

 It is expected to continue moving north to northwest without any direct impact over the Sultanate of Oman.  Sea is expected to be slight to moderate along the Arabian Sea coasts, with maximum wave heights ranging between 1 and 2 meters.

Meteorological specialists in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Center are actively observing upcoming updates.
